Clause หมายถึงอนุประโยคที่ทำหน้าที่ขยายข้อความของประโยคหลัก
Subject + verb+ Clause Marker + Subject + Verb
Clause Marker + Subject + Verb, Subject + Verb
I won’t go where

ฉันจะไม่ไปในที่ที่เขาไป
As I was walking alone the street, I saw an
accident.
ขณะที่ผมกำลังเดินไปตามถนนผมเห็นอุบัติเหตุ

ดุราวกับว่าคุณไม่มีใครเคารพนับถือเลย

หมายถึงอนุประโยคที่ทำหน้าที่ขยายประโยคหลักเพื่อบอกการกระทำนั้นๆที่เกิดขึ้น ณ สถานที่ใดซึ่งจะมี Clause Markers ดังนี้ Where, wherever
ตัวอย่าง You will find the book where
you have left it.
คุณจะพบหนังสือ ในที่ที่คุณวางทิ้งไว้
You can visit wherever you like.
คุณสามารถเยี่ยมสถานที่ใกล้ๆตามที่คุณชอบ

หมายถึงอนุประโยคที่ทำหน้าที่ขยายประโยคหลักเพื่อบอกการกระทำนั้นๆที่เกิดขึ้น ณ เวลาใด เวลาหนึ่ง ซึ่งจะมี Clause Markers ดังนี้ when, whenever, while, as, before, after, since, till,
until, as soon as, as long as
ตัวอย่าง When I saw the serious
accident, I was walking along the street.
ตอนที่ผมเห็นอุบัติเหตุร้ายแรงนั้น ผมกำลังเดินไปตามถนน
As I was walking along the street, I saw
the serious accident.
ขณะที่ผมได้เดินไปตามท้องถนน ผมเห็นอุบัติเหตุร้ายแรง

หมายถึงอนุประโยคที่ทำหน้าที่ขยายประโยคหลักเพื่อบอกเหตุผลของการกระทำนั้นๆซึ่งจะมี Clause Markers ดังนี้ because, since, as, for, now that, seeing that
ตัวอย่าง She ran away because she
saw a big snake.

nevertheless, whereas, while
ตัวอย่าง While we would rather buy a

ตัวอย่าง Supposing we had attack them
first, how would they have reacted.
